Solar energy
All our own farms and our slaughter plant are covered by rooftop solar power plants.
We generate part of the electricity for rearing, chilling and processing from the sun, where it is used.
A farm network in northern Croatia
We rear our birds on our own farms and on partner farms in northern Croatia, around our plant in Veliki Bukovec. Around 40 in total.
Short distances from farm to slaughterhouse mean less stress for the birds and fresher meat. All farms follow the same rearing rules, and we regularly check every partner farm.
Animal welfare
We achieve animal welfare through a short, closed chain: farms close to the plant, the same rearing rules on every farm, and regular audits of all our partner farms. The safety of food and people always comes first.
What it looks like
Broilers are reared on litter, with enough space, light and fresh air. Ducks, geese and roosters have outdoor access. Our technologists follow every flock on our own and partner farms.
